On Sunday Dr. Miguel Angel Barrios, Argentinean professor, presented a lecture at the Faculty of World Studies, University of Tehran.
Dr. Barrios began his lecture by paying respects to the anniversary of the demise of the late Imam Khomeini (RA). He gave an introduction about the line of thought of the Imam, and the existing problems in Latin American countries after the interferences of the United States.
He referred to the many distorted propaganda of the West against Islam and Iran, and its effects on the public thought of world countries, and urged for the cooperation of universities through an exchange of information and research papers as one of the ways to fight such efforts of the West.
Dr. Barrios recommended that UT professors and students publish their works in Argentina’s publications. The session ended with both parties expressing readiness for cooperation.
